The Red Collection is a set of six single malts released by The Macallan in 2020, spanning 40, 50, 60, 71, 74 and 78 years of age. At launch, the 78 Year Old held the record for the oldest age-statement whisky ever offered by The Macallan, and the oldest ever offered at auction, with an original retail price of £65,500. Each expression in the collection was drawn from The Macallan's private cask reserves to showcase the brand's longest-matured stock.
