Please read our terms carefully before placing your order.


Prices

Unless the contrary is explicitly shown, all prices displayed on this site are subject to the following rules:

  • Prices are listed per case or per bottle (bt) as specifically indicated.
  • Delivery charges are not included in the product price unless otherwise stated.

Payment

  • Payment is due immediately upon invoice generation and must be fully received within 3 working days to secure your inventory order.
  • Accepted Payment Methods:
    • Bank Transfer (FPS / Direct Deposit)
    • HKD Cash
    • Cheque (Note: Funds must fully clear within 2 business days before any goods can be released)
    • Credit Card (Please note a nominal 3% administration fee applies to all card transactions)
  • Late payments will automatically accrue interest charges calculated at 10% per annum.
  • Orders remaining unpaid after the 3-day window will be cancelled without prior notice.
  • All goods remain the sole legal property of Solera until full, unencumbered payment is cleared.

Title and Risk

  • Legal ownership of stock items transfers to the buyer only after full payment has been finalized.
  • The risk of accidental loss, breakage, or damage passes completely to the customer once we issue formal notification that goods are ready for collection or delivery dispatch.

Delivery & Collection

  • All delivery times or logistical target windows provided by our staff are estimates only.
  • Customers opting for self-pickup must provide our team with at least 30 minutes notice prior to arrival.
  • Standard warehouse storage fees will apply to any goods not collected or delivered within 3 months of initial availability.
  • Domestic road transport can be safely coordinated upon special client request.
  • For payments finalized via paper cheque, stock will only be cleared for delivery or vehicle loading after bank clearance confirmation.

Sales & Confirmation

  • All submitted orders are considered final and remain subject to structural confirmation by our desk.
  • We do not offer order cancellations, item returns, or vintage exchanges.
  • All sold bottles are entirely non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Prices listed across our digital channels may change periodically without prior warning.
  • Unless explicitly marked otherwise, all wines are sold lying in Hong Kong (excluding special En Primeur campaigns).

Returns and Breakage

  • All goods must be inspected carefully by the receiver at the exact time of delivery or pickup.
  • Any broken bottles or structural delivery claims must be reported immediately to our service hotline at +852 3101 1181.
  • No subsequent logistical defect claims will be accepted or processed once a delivery receipt has been formally signed and acknowledged.

Default & Resale Rights

In events where payments are overdue by 7 days, or stock items are left uncollected for more than 3 months, Solera reserves the complete right to resell the stock at our discretion.

Upon execution of an administrative resale, your client account will be issued a credit balance equivalent to 80% of the lower of:

  • The actual net proceeds generated from the resale transaction, or
  • The total cost value on the original unpaid invoice.

Any remaining outstanding deficiency balance will remain payable to Solera and continue to accumulate interest charges.

Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any operational failures or logistical delays caused directly by circumstances lying beyond our reasonable management control. This includes natural disasters, accidents, strikes, widespread shipping disruptions, or regulatory changes. Solera (H.K.) Limited bears no responsibility for product loss, damage, or fulfillment shortfalls stemming from confiscation, seizure, or restrictions imposed by government authorities.

Product Quality & Provenance

  • While we take the utmost care with temperature-controlled storage and act in good faith, we cannot guarantee the internal state or drinking condition of corks, especially regarding aged vintage wines.
  • Natural cosmetic variations regarding label wear, ullage levels, cork conditions, or wood cases are to be expected with mature inventory.
  • We cannot offer returns, refunds, or credits for corked or faulty wine bottles.

En Primeur Campaigns & Governing Law

In the rare event where allocated En Primeur wines fail to materialize or cannot be supplied due to global distribution constraints, our liability is strictly limited to a direct, full refund of the original monies paid.

All contractual relationships are strictly governed under the Basic Law and remain subject to the exclusive legal jurisdiction of the Hong Kong SAR Courts.
