How to Use Wine Away:
Step 1: Shake the bottle lightly. Saturate the stain completely with Wine Away®. Let it sit for 1–5 minutes, allowing Wine Away® to work its magic. (If treating a garment while wearing it, place a clean cloth between the garment and your skin).
Step 2: Blot the area firmly with a clean rag or paper towel (do not rub) until the stain disappears.
Step 3: Get back to enjoying your time, knowing you don’t have to worry about that stain anymore!
Treating Fresh Stains
Clothing & Fabrics
Spray the stained area thoroughly with Wine Away. Let it set for 3–5 minutes, apply a standard laundry pre-wash treatment, and launder as usual.
Pro Tip: Check the stained area before putting the garment in the dryer. If a trace of the stain remains, repeat the procedure before applying heat.
Carpet & Upholstery
Spray Wine Away directly onto the stain, wait a few minutes, and blot! Let the treated area dry completely, then follow up with a damp rag to remove any excess residue.
The Blotting Trick: Wrap a clean paper towel or rag around your thumb, press directly down into the stain, and twist clockwise. Avoid rubbing side-to-side, as this can fray the carpet fibers.
Notice (Stain Turned Bluish?): It is completely normal for certain types of red wine or fruit stains to turn a bluish color when reacting with the formula. Simply follow the standard directions on the bottle and rinse or blot with cold water.
Heavy or Set-In Stains

Saturate the stubborn stain with Wine Away. Allow the formula to deeply penetrate the fibers for 20–30 minutes, then blot thoroughly using the thumb-twist technique. Let dry completely.
Pro Tip: For exceptionally deep stains, allowing Wine Away to fully air-dry into the fibers before doing your final damp-rag rinse can deliver the best results.
