How to Use Wine Away (Fast first response)

1. Saturate

Shake the bottle lightly, then saturate the stain completely with Wine Away®. Let it sit for 1–5 minutes so the formula can work into the spill.

2. Blot

Blot firmly with a clean rag or paper towel until the stain lifts. Avoid rubbing side-to-side, especially on carpet or upholstery.

3. Check Before Heat

For clothing and fabrics, check the stained area before machine drying. If any trace remains, repeat before applying heat.

Treating Fresh Stains (Clothing, carpet and upholstery)

Clothing & Fabrics

Spray the stained area thoroughly with Wine Away. Let it set for 3–5 minutes, apply a standard laundry pre-wash treatment, and launder as usual.

Important: check the area before putting the garment in the dryer. Repeat first if a trace of the stain remains.

Carpet & Upholstery

Spray Wine Away directly onto the stain, wait a few minutes, then blot. Let the treated area dry completely, then follow with a damp rag to remove residue.

Tip: wrap a clean paper towel or rag around your thumb, press directly down, and twist clockwise. Avoid side-to-side rubbing.

Heavy or Set-In Stains (When the stain has already started to set)

Old Fabric Stains

Spray generously with Wine Away and let it stand for 15 minutes. Repeat the spray, apply a laundry pre-wash treatment, and launder normally.

Always check before drying. Repeat the process if needed.

Old Carpet / Upholstery

Saturate the stubborn stain and let the formula penetrate for 20–30 minutes, then blot thoroughly using the thumb-twist technique. Let dry completely.

For deep stains, allowing Wine Away to fully air-dry into the fibers before the final damp-rag rinse can deliver the best result.
