Macallan 50 Year The Red Collection is an ultra-rare Speyside single malt for connoisseurs, showcasing five decades of maturation with luxurious dried fruit, oak and dark chocolate depth.

The Macallan Red Collection, launched in October 2020, brings together the distillery's oldest ongoing age-statement bottlings, 40, 50 and 60 Years Old, alongside limited releases of 71, 74 and 78 Years Old, with the 78 Year Old recognised as the oldest age-statement Macallan ever offered. Inspired by the colour red through the brand's history, each expression is matured in sherry-seasoned casks and selected by Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell. The Macallan 50 Year Old is bottled at 45.1% ABV from sherry-seasoned casks and barrels, sitting at the centre of the Red Collection with an RRP of £37,500.
