A quarter of a century of maturation on The Macallan Estate in Speyside, in predominantly sherry-seasoned European oak casks seasoned at bodegas in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, transforms the distillery's rich new-make spirit into this rare and distinguished single malt. Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell describes the Sherry Oak Collection's character as "succulent dried fruits and sweet spices, with a depth of flavour that intensifies through the range," and the whisky's colour is entirely natural, drawn from the cask rather than added.
