The Family Reserve 20 Year carries the name of Julian P. Van Winkle Sr., the Stitzel-Weller distiller whose wheated recipe still defines the house. Barrels are chosen by the third and fourth generations of the family from stock distilled and matured at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, where production has sat since the 2002 joint venture. Bottling strength is 90.4 proof.
