About This Whisky
The second edition of The Macallan's Masters of Photography series, pairing a 20 year old Sherry Oak single malt with the work of Scottish photographer Albert Watson.
The Albert Watson edition was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2010 at 20 years old, matured in sherry oak.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Dried fruit and orange peel, chocolate and polished oak, with a waft of sherry and spice.
- Palate: Full and refined, raisin and fig, toffee and cocoa, backed by European oak spice.
- Finish: Long, with fruit cake, cinnamon and mature wood.
Serving & Food
Serve neat in a tulip glass, with duck liver pâté on toasted brioche, a slice of Dundee cake, or dark chocolate.
