The Macallan 18 Year Sherry Oak 2026 Release belongs to the distillery’s long-running Sherry Oak Collection, matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez for the dried-fruit, spice and polished-oak profile associated with the range.
From the Producer
The Macallan Sherry Oak Collection is matured for a minimum of 18 years in predominantly sherry-seasoned European oak casks, seasoned with sherry wine at bodegas in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain before being filled with new make spirit distilled on The Macallan's Curiously Small Stills at the Easter Elchies estate in Speyside. Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell describes the collection as showing "succulent dried fruits and sweet spices, with a depth of flavour that intensifies through the range," and the whisky carries entirely natural colour drawn from the wood rather than added colouring.
