Longrow 18 Year 2021 is a heavily peated Campbeltown single malt from Springbank Distillery’s Longrow range, distilled at Springbank in Campbeltown and bottled at 700ml.

Longrow is the heavily peated single malt produced at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, founded in 1828 and today one of the few remaining distilleries in the historic Campbeltown region. Longrow is made from the same floor-maltings used for Springbank, but is dried over peat to a phenol level of around 55 ppm, then typically matured in a high proportion of sherry casks alongside bourbon and occasional wine casks. The 18 Year is the aged flagship of the Longrow range, released periodically and bottled without chill-filtration or colouring. Tasting Notes

Nose — gentle peat smoke, dried fruit, sea spray, leather and citrus peel.
Palate — complex and oily, with mature smoke, sherry richness, bourbon-cask brightness and layered savoury depth.
Finish — long and elegant, with coastal salinity, soft ash and lingering spice.
