Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair holds La Romanée as a monopole Grand Cru, the smallest AOC in France at 0.8452 hectares, producing only a few thousand bottles a year under the revival started by Louis-Michel Liger-Belair in 2000. The domaine bottles and packs each vintage at the property in solid wooden cases marked with the La Romanée label and the vintage year; intact presentation cases from this rare monopole bottling are retained by collectors as display pieces and as matched storage for bottles they already hold. The case offered here contains no bottles, no capsules, no corks and no wine — it is sold as a presentation piece only.

Tasting Notes
