Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair La Romanée 2007 is a Grand Cru Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy's smallest and most coveted appellations. The wine is bought primarily for its rarity, provenance and the prestige of the La Romanée monopole.

From the Producer

Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair traces its Vosne-Romanée roots to 1815, when Napoleonic general Louis Liger-Belair acquired the Château de Vosne, and the modern estate was re-founded in 2000 by Comte Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, an agricultural engineer and oenologist who farms the domaine's vineyards biodynamically. La Romanée is the domaine's sole-owned monopole in Vosne-Romanée and, at 0.8452 hectares, the smallest Grand Cru appellation in Burgundy and the smallest AOC in France, making every vintage a scarce release.
