Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair traces over 200 years of family winemaking in Vosne-Romanée. Comte Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, an agricultural engineer and oenologist, took over the estate in 2000 and rebuilt it around the family's remaining vineyard parcels, growing holdings in Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Flagey-Echezeaux. The domaine has been certified organic and biodynamic (Ecocert, Biodyvin label) since 2012, and is known for small volumes from some of the Côte de Nuits' most prestigious monopole and Grand Cru sites.
