Les Champs Libres was founded in 2013 by Julie and Baptiste Guinaudeau, whose family also owns Château Lafleur in Pomerol. The wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, assembled from four parcels on the clay-limestone plateau d'Ambeau, and is made with the same attention to detail the Guinaudeau family applies at Lafleur.
