About This Wine
A village Nuits-Saint-Georges from the single lieu-dit Aux Allots, made by Domaine Leroy in 2011.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Black cherry, raspberry and damp earth, with a hint of game and sweet spice from the oak.
- Palate: Medium-bodied and fresh, with fine tannin and more depth than you expect from a village wine.
- Finish: Savoury and quite long, with cherry stone and a touch of forest floor.
Serving & Food
Stand the bottle upright a day ahead, decant briefly off any sediment, and pour at about 16°C. Good company for roast pigeon, coq au vin or a mushroom and chestnut pie.

Where is Aux Allots? In northern Nuits-Saint-Georges, near the Vosne-Romanée boundary, just below Aux Murgers and Aux Boudots.
