Leroy Chambertin 2011 750mL is the Chambertin Grand Cru red Burgundy from Domaine Leroy, drawn from one of the most storied Grand Cru terroirs of the Côte de Nuits, bottled only in small quantities from the domaine's old-vine Pinot Noir.

Domaine Leroy was assembled by Lalou Bize-Leroy from the mid-1980s onwards through a series of acquisitions of vineyards across the Côte d'Or, including holdings in Chambertin, Musigny, Romanée-Saint-Vivant and other Grands Crus. Bize-Leroy was co-director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti between 1974 and 1992, and her estate is widely regarded as one of the most demanding producers in Burgundy. Domaine Leroy has farmed biodynamically across all its vineyard holdings since 1988, follows extremely low-yield viticulture (regularly below the Burgundy average), uses very old vines across most of its parcels, and bottles without fining or filtration. The 2011 vintage on the Côte d'Or is widely cited as a classic, structured year with bright acidity and the capacity to age.
