Krug Rosé 26ème Édition is described by the House as a singular rosé Champagne and an astonishing balancing act between finesse and substance. Composed around the 2014 harvest, it blends 28 wines from seven different years.
From the Producer
Krug Rosé 26ème Édition was composed around the 2014 harvest and blends 28 wines from 7 different years — the youngest from 2014, the oldest from 2005 — with reserve wines making up 33% of the final blend (44% Pinot Noir, including 11% traditionally macerated red Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 26% Meunier). Cellar master Julie Cavil selected 2014 Chardonnay from the Côte de Blancs and Montagne de Reims Sud for citrus and structure, and a Pinot Noir from Sacy for its redcurrant character, alongside red Pinot Noir from Aÿ and Taïssy.
