Krug Grande Cuvée 169ème Édition was composed around the 2013 harvest and blends 146 wines from 11 different years — the youngest from 2013, the oldest from 2000 — with reserve wines making up 40% of the final blend (43% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, 22% Meunier). Cellar master Julie Cavil drew on the House's oldest plots in Ambonnay and Ricey, where a fresh, pure Chardonnay year met powerful, long Pinot Noir and structuring Meunier. Source: krug.com.
