Krug Grande Cuvée 167ème Édition was composed around the 2011 harvest and blends 191 wines from 13 different years — the youngest from 2011, the oldest from 1995 — with reserve wines making up 42% of the final blend (47% Pinot Noir, 36% Chardonnay, 17% Meunier). Cellar master Julie Cavil combined fruity Montagne de Reims Nord and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ wines of the year with structured Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, Aÿ and Bouzy, Meunier from Sainte-Gemme, and Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, Chouilly and Oger.
