Karuizawa was a Nagano Prefecture distillery that operated from 1955 to 2016 and built its reputation on small-batch, single-cask single malts aged in cool mountain warehouses. The Fazzino editions paired Karuizawa spirit with 3D-pop artwork by American artist Charles Fazzino and were marketed internationally through specialist channels. Cask #6412, distilled in 1981, was bottled after 35 years of maturation as part of this collectible art-bottle series, with the Fazzino sleeve supplied with the bottle.
