From the Producer
Kanosuke Distillery sits at Hioki on the southern coast of Kagoshima Prefecture and is operated by Komasa Kanosuke Distillery, a producer with a longer history in shochu. The malt whisky side of the operation began distillation in 2017, and 2022 marked the release of the distillery's first single malt offerings, of which this Limited Edition was among the earliest. Kanosuke's house character draws on warm southern climate, a focus on pot-still spirit and attentive cask selection.
