Jacques Selosse is a grower Champagne house based in Avize, in the Côte des Blancs, run by Anselme Selosse, a pioneer of biodynamic and organic viticulture in Champagne and the fourth generation of his family to grow wine there. As a grower (récoltant-manipulant) producer, Selosse vinifies grapes from its own vineyards rather than blending fruit bought in from dozens of growers, and ferments its wines in oak barrels, giving the range its distinctive vinous, textural style.
