A lever corkscrew from Houdini, the sister line to Rabbit, in a glossy black finish. It uses the same down-and-up lever idea that Rabbit brought into home wine service, so a cork comes out in a couple of smooth strokes.
Use & Features
- Lever action: clamp the handles round the neck, bring the lever down and back up, and the cork is drawn
- Automatic cork release, so there is no picking the cork off the spiral by hand
- All-metal gears inside the mechanism
- Works across bottle sizes
- Foil cutter and spare spiral included; non-electric Houdini corkscrews carry a five-year warranty
Care & Tips
Take the foil off with the cutter first, as drilling through foil damages the spiral's coating. Wipe away cork dust with a damp cloth and never submerge the mechanism. Fit the spare spiral once corks start to slip.
Who It's For
Regular wine drinkers who want lever speed on the kitchen counter, and a sensible housewarming present.
