Hibiki 35 Year Arita Ceramic 2016 is a rare aged Japanese blended whisky presented in a collectible Arita porcelain decanter, placing as much emphasis on craftsmanship and presentation as on the mature whisky itself. It sits firmly in trophy-bottle territory for collectors of top Suntory releases and Japanese ceramic special editions.
From the Producer
Hibiki was launched by Suntory in 1989 to mark the company's 90th anniversary, built on the idea of harmony between nature, craft and time. Each Hibiki blend is composed by Suntory's Chief Blender from malt and grain whiskies matured at the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, selected from hundreds of cask samples before final blending. This 35 Year expression is presented in a hand-decorated Arita porcelain decanter, pairing the extended maturation of the Hibiki range with Japan's centuries-old Arita ceramic tradition, first developed in the Saga region in the early 17th century.
