Hibiki 21 Year The Beauty of Japanese Nature 700mL is presented with collector-focused, fact-led description: a rare bottle selected for provenance, condition awareness and drinking or cellaring appeal.
From the Producer
Hibiki 21 Year Kacho Fugetsu — Japanese for "Beauty of Japanese Nature" — is a limited-edition release from the House of Suntory featuring a Mount Fuji motif on the decorative 24-faceted Hibiki bottle, whose facets represent the 24 micro-seasons of the Japanese lunar calendar. Production was capped at around 2,000 bottles and the whisky is the same Hibiki 21 Year blend: malt and grain whiskies from Suntory's Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries matured for 21 years in American white oak, sherry oak and Mizunara Japanese oak casks, married and bottled at 43% ABV.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: mature orchard fruit, honey, polished oak and gentle incense
- Palate: silky dried fruit, caramelised citrus, Mizunara-style spice and layered grain sweetness
- Finish: long, graceful and warming, with oak spice and soft smoke
Best For
