Hibiki 17 Year debuted in 1989 as one of Suntory's first two age-stated Hibiki releases, built from malt and grain whiskies matured at the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. Suntory began discontinuing the expression from 2018, and it no longer appears on the brand's official range, so surviving bottles come from a closed batch rather than an ongoing release. This bottle is offered without its outer box.
