Hennessy 250th Anniversary Limited Edition Blend Cognac is a commemorative Cognac blend released by Maison Hennessy to mark the house's 250th anniversary, presented in 1L format and aimed at collectors and anniversary gifting.
From the Producer
Maison Hennessy was founded in Cognac in 1765 by Richard Hennessy, an Irish military officer who settled in the Charente region, and is today part of the LVMH group's wines and spirits division. The 250th Anniversary Limited Edition Blend was created to mark the milestone in 2015, drawing on eaux-de-vie matured in specially commissioned Limousin oak barrels after a prior decade of ageing. Hennessy's standard production revolves around blends sourced from across the six crus of Cognac, including Grande and Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois, Bons Bois and Bois Ordinaires.
