Hazelburn 15 Year Sherry Wood 2022 is a triple-distilled, unpeated Campbeltown single malt from the Springbank Distillery family, fully matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 54.2% ABV for the 2022 release.

From the Producer

Hazelburn is one of three single malts produced at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, distinguished from the core Springbank and Longrow expressions by being triple-distilled and unpeated. The brand was revived by Springbank in 2005 after a long dormancy, using whisky distilled on the same Victorian-era equipment that produces the flagship Springbank. The 15 Year Sherry Wood is fully matured in Oloroso sherry casks and is released in limited annual batches through the distillery's standard release programme.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Dried fig, raisin, orange peel, walnut and polished oak.
• Palate: Dense and mouth-coating, with sherried fruit, spice, toffee and coastal structure beneath the sweetness.
• Finish: Long and warming, with dark fruit, nutty oak and lingering savoury spice.
