Hakushu 18 Hospitality Limited Edition is an unusual older Hakushu presentation with limited public detail and a design-led appeal. It is a collector bottle first.

Hakushu was built in 1973 in the forest at the foot of the Southern Japanese Alps at around 700 metres - the highest malt distillery in Japan, and the reason its spirit is greener and more herbal than Yamazaki's. Suntory has bottled a number of limited Hakushu presentations outside its retail range, made in small quantities for specific channels rather than general distribution, and these carry far less public documentation than the standard 18 Year. Suntory withdrew Hakushu age statements from general supply as inventory tightened, so every older 18 Year presentation is now a closed set.
