Château Guiraud 2009 is a Premier Grand Cru Classé Sauternes from one of Bordeaux’s benchmark sweet-wine estates, showing the richness of the 2009 vintage while keeping the freshness and lift that make classed-growth Sauternes so drinkable.

Château Guiraud carries the Premier Grand Cru Classé rank from the 1855 classification and is recognised for an aromatic, lifted style of Sauternes. Since 2006 the estate has been owned by a partnership involving Chanel and the Chapoutier family (alongside Planty), and from the 2011 vintage onward Guiraud has been certified biodynamic across the entire vineyard. The wine itself is a Sémillon / Sauvignon Blanc blend fermented and aged in barrel, with noble-rot-affected grapes selected by hand.
