Grand Village Blanc 2020 is the dry white wine from the Guinaudeau family’s second estate in the Gironde, the same family that runs Château Lafleur in Pomerol. It offers a polished, food-friendly style for buyers who want freshness and texture without stepping into far more expensive classified white Bordeaux.
From the Producer
Grand Village is the project of Jacques and Boris Guinaudeau, owners of Château Lafleur in Pomerol since 2002. The estate sits on the right bank of the Dordogne and is used by the family to experiment with Bordeaux varieties outside the strict Lafleur frame; the Blanc is a Sémillon / Sauvignon Blanc blend vinified for bright, early drinking rather than cellar age. Trade press such as Decanter and Vinous have covered Grand Village as a sister project to Lafleur, with the Blanc positioned as an everyday white carrying the family’s signature on the winemaking side.
