Glenmorangie 18 Year is a mature Highland single malt aged for a minimum of 18 years, bottled at 43% ABV in 700mL, that keeps the distillery's signature citrus brightness and silky texture while adding extra depth from extended cask ageing.
From the Producer
Glenmorangie is distilled in Tain, Ross-shire, in the northern Highlands of Scotland. The distillery was founded in 1843 and is owned by The Glenmorangie Company Ltd, a subsidiary of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (Wikipedia, "Glenmorangie distillery"). Glenmorangie is known for tall stills — the highest in Scotland — and for sourcing its white oak from a dedicated forest in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri, USA. The 18 Year sits in the core Highland single malt range, released at 43% ABV and typically presented in ex-bourbon cask maturation with occasional finishing influences.
