Glenlivet Cellar Collection 1969 is a vintage Speyside single malt from The Glenlivet's limited Cellar Collection range, drawn from casks laid down in 1969 and bottled after long maturation in the distillery's traditional bourbon and French-oak cask programme.

The Glenlivet was founded in 1824 by George Smith and John Gordon Smith at Ballindalloch in Moray, making it the oldest legal distillery in the Scottish Highlands (Wikipedia, "The Glenlivet distillery"). The distillery sources water from Josie's Well and Blairfindy Well, runs 14 copper pot stills and holds capacity of around 10.5 million litres of pure alcohol per year. The Cellar Collection series is The Glenlivet's archive-focused range of older, limited single-cask or small-batch bottlings drawn from long-held stocks. The 1969 vintage is one of the older expressions in this series, aimed at collectors who want pre-1980s Speyside maturation.
