Dom Pérignon Rosé Murakami 2010 is a limited prestige cuvée from Moët & Chandon's Dom Pérignon house, presented in collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and delivered in its gift box.
From the Producer
Dom Pérignon is the prestige cuvée of Moët & Chandon, declared only in years the house deems worthy of vintage status. The Murakami collaboration is a numbered artist-edition release in which Takashi Murakami reimagines the presentation of a vintage Dom Pérignon Rosé. The 2010 vintage is widely treated by the house as a more classically structured, cool, chalk-driven year, producing a tightly wound rosé with notable ageing potential.
Tasting Notes
Appearance — pale copper-pink with a refined, persistent mousse.
Nose — wild strawberry, pink grapefruit, brioche, smoke and delicate spice.
Palate — focused and energetic, with red berry fruit, citrus lift, fine autolytic depth and a mineral, chalk-driven frame.
Finish — long, savoury and poised, with crisp mineral grip and a refined close.
Best For
Collectors of Dom Pérignon artist editions, prestige gifting and special dinners that call for a numbered presentation bottle. Pairs naturally with shellfish, seafood, aged cheeses or aperitif service.
