Heitz Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Martha's Vineyard 1974 750mL is a historic Napa Valley Cabernet from one of California’s landmark vineyard bottlings, now valued for mature collector appeal and the estate’s long-standing Martha’s Vineyard pedigree.
From the Producer
Heitz Cellar's relationship with Martha's Vineyard began in the mid-1960s when Joe Heitz agreed with grower Tom May to source Cabernet Sauvignon from May's small Oakville vineyard. The first Heitz Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon was released from the 1966 vintage, establishing one of Napa Valley's earliest single-vineyard-designated wines and a signature eucalyptus-tinged style tied to the vineyard's location near mature eucalyptus trees.
