About This Whiskey
WhistlePig 15 Year Estate Oak Rye is one of the Vermont distillery's oldest whiskeys, finished in oak grown on its own farm. This bottle comes with a gift box.
Estate Oak has more growth rings than standard barrel oak, adding depth. It is bottled at 46% (92 proof).
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Caramel, vanilla and oak, with allspice and burnt orange.
- Palate: Warm and creamy, with butterscotch, baking spice, leather and tobacco.
- Finish: Very long, rich and warming.
Serving & Food
Sip it neat or with a drop of water. Pecan pie or a mild cigar suits it.
