WhistlePig is a Vermont-based rye whiskey distillery; the brand traces to 2007, when founder Raj Bhakta purchased the farm the distillery still occupies, with the whiskey brand launching in 2010. The Boss Hog is WhistlePig's flagship rare-and-limited series, built around single-barrel selections and cask-finishing experiments rather than a fixed annual recipe, with each numbered edition presenting its own barrel, finish and proof.
