Karuizawa 36 Year 1978 Cask #8383 700mL is a single-cask bottling from the closed Karuizawa distillery, distilled in 1978 and offered in 700ml format.
From the Producer
Karuizawa was a small distillery in Nagano Prefecture that operated from 1955 to 2016 and was owned by Mercian Corporation, part of the Kirin group. After closure, the distillery's remaining maturing stock was finished off through specialist releases, with single-cask bottlings catalogued by cask number. Cask #8383 is part of the 1978 vintage parcel and is offered here as a single-cask Karuizawa release in 700ml format, drawing on spirit distilled during the distillery's final active decades.
