Lehmann Jamesse Reference Grand Rouge 77 cl is a large red-wine glass in the Jamesse design family. Catalogue references support the 77 cl Grand Rouge format for red-wine service, while the current source set also shows some naming overlap between Reference and Prestige listings.
From the Producer
Lehmann Glass is based in Reims, in the heart of Champagne, and built its reputation on stemware designed with working sommeliers rather than in isolation. The Jamesse line was developed with Philippe Jamesse, long-time head sommelier of Le Domaine Les Crayeres in Reims, and is defined by a wide, near-spherical bowl drawn into a narrow chimney, a shape intended to concentrate aromatics above a large surface of wine. The Grand Rouge at 77 cl is the large-bowl red-wine format in that family.
Use & Features
- Large bowl: 77 cl format aimed at aromatic red-wine service.
- Design family: Jamesse spherical bowl shape built to show colour and aroma clearly.
- Service fit: Suitable for restaurant, tasting-room, or home use where fuller-bodied reds need a larger glass.
Best For
Red wine service, comparative tastings, and buyers building out a more serious stemware selection.
