Harlan Estate is a single-owner Napa Valley estate on the western Mayacamas slopes above Oakville, founded by H. William Harlan and first planted in 1984. The estate's flagship wine is Harlan Estate Proprietary Red, first released commercially from the 1990 vintage, alongside The Maiden, the estate's second wine introduced from 1995. Harlan Estate ships magnums in single-bottle wooden cases, and 750mL formats in 3-packs or 6-packs. These wooden cases are increasingly sought after by collectors who assemble or sell matched-format sets and by hospitality venues seeking authenticated presentation pieces.
