Solera Fine Wines & Spirits · Sheung Wan, Hong Kong
Full-time · Mon–Fri, 10:00am–7:00pm
About us
Solera Fine Wines & Spirits is a Hong Kong retailer of fine wine, champagne, and whisky, serving customers through our online store and in-person tastings, trade events, and client relationships. We're a small, hands-on team where every hire shapes how customers experience the brand.
The role
We're looking for someone who can grow our customer base and revenue while keeping our brand voice sharp across channels. You'll split your time between proactive sales (client outreach, trade and private tastings, account relationships) and marketing execution (campaigns, content, event support, e-commerce promotion). This is a role for someone who enjoys both the relationship-building side of wine retail and the discipline of running marketing that actually converts.
This is an ownership role, not a task list. You'll take the projects and campaigns you start all the way through to the finish, largely working independently rather than waiting to be pointed at the next thing. We're looking for someone who wants to build something — not someone who picks and chooses the parts of the job that interest them.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage relationships with retail and trade customers, including restaurants, private clients, and corporate accounts
- Plan and represent Solera at tastings, trade shows, and client events
- Own marketing campaigns across email, social, and our e-commerce channels, from concept through execution
- Work with the operations team to align promotions with stock availability and fulfilment capacity
- Track sales pipeline and campaign performance, and report on what's working
- Ensure all marketing materials comply with Hong Kong alcohol-marketing and age-restriction requirements
- Support product selection and positioning based on customer feedback and market trends
What we're looking for
- 3+ years' experience in sales, marketing, or client relations — wine, spirits, or luxury/FMCG retail experience preferred but not required
- A proven self-starter who takes ownership of a project from kickoff to completion and works independently, without needing to be managed step by step
- Comfortable in front of clients at tastings and events, as well as behind a laptop building campaigns
- Strong written communication — you can write copy that sells without sounding like a sales pitch
- Organized and self-directed; comfortable owning a channel or account list end to end
- WSET or wine/spirits knowledge is a plus, not a requirement — genuine interest in the category matters more
- Legally entitled to work in Hong Kong
What we offer
- A close-knit team where your work is visible and has direct impact
- Exposure to both the trade and consumer sides of the wine and spirits business
- Standard Hong Kong statutory benefits — MPF, annual leave (increasing with length of service), and general holidays
- Sheung Wan office, Monday–Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm
Salary: commensurate with experience — to be discussed
