Sales & Marketing Executive

Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

Solera HK Limited · Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

Role Overview

Growing Solera’s customer base and revenue across sales and marketing

Solera HK Limited is looking for a commercially driven Sales & Marketing Executive to grow our customer base and revenue while keeping our brand voice sharp across channels.

This role is suited for someone who enjoys both the relationship-building side of wine retail — client outreach, trade and private tastings, account relationships — and the discipline of running marketing that actually converts, from campaigns and content to event support and e-commerce promotion.

This is an ownership role, not a task list. The successful candidate will take the projects and campaigns they start all the way through to the finish, largely working independently rather than waiting to be pointed at the next thing.

Role Summary

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm
  • Work week: 5 days per week
  • Experience: 3+ years in sales, marketing, or client relations
  • Industry: Wine, spirits, beverage retail
  • Employment: Full-time
  • Salary: Commensurate with experience — to be discussed
  • Time to answer: Within 5 days
  • Offer timeline: Within 5 days after final interview

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Development

  • Develop and manage relationships with retail and trade customers, including restaurants, private clients, and corporate accounts.
  • Track sales pipeline and campaign performance, and report on what’s working.

Marketing Campaign Ownership

  • Own marketing campaigns across email, social, and our e-commerce channels, from concept through execution.
  • Ensure all marketing materials comply with Hong Kong alcohol-marketing and age-restriction requirements.

Events & Trade Support

  • Plan and represent Solera at tastings, trade shows, and client events.
  • Support product selection and positioning based on customer feedback and market trends.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work with the operations team to align promotions with stock availability and fulfilment capacity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in sales, marketing, or client relations — wine, spirits, or luxury/FMCG retail experience preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable in front of clients at tastings and events, as well as behind a laptop building campaigns.
  • Strong written communication — able to write copy that sells without sounding like a sales pitch.
  • Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic office and marketing software.
  • WSET or wine/spirits knowledge is a plus, not a requirement — genuine interest in the category matters more.
  • Fluent Cantonese and basic English preferred. Mandarin is a plus.
  • Legally entitled to work in Hong Kong.

Benefits & Growth

  • 5-day work week.
  • MPF and statutory benefits, including annual leave increasing with length of service.
  • A close-knit team where your work is visible and has direct impact.
  • Exposure to both the trade and consumer sides of the wine and spirits business.

Ideal Candidate

  • Has a track record of taking a project or campaign from kickoff to completion, not just contributing to one.
  • Works independently and doesn’t need to be managed step by step.
  • Wants to build something — not someone who picks and chooses the parts of the job that interest them.
  • Comfortable moving between the relationship-building side of sales and the discipline of running marketing that converts.
  • Organized and self-directed; comfortable owning a channel or account list end to end.
  • Genuinely interested in wine, spirits, and premium retail.
