Diageo's Special Releases run once a year and draw on casks held back across the company's malt distilleries, bottled in limited numbers and not repeated. This 17-year-old came out in the 2020 series under The Singleton, the group's single malt house known for a fruit-forward, gently oaked style rather than peat. Once an annual release sells through, no further stock is made.

Suited to Special Releases collectors and to anyone who prefers mature unpeated Speyside-style malt neat after dinner. A little water will lift the fruit.

Tasting Profile

Seventeen years of cask time gives an unpeated malt of orchard fruit and honeyed malt over vanilla-toned oak, with a soft, gently spiced finish rather than a hot one.
