This is an empty Screaming Eagle 2008 three-bottle original wooden case only, not wine. It serves as collector presentation packaging for a sought-after Napa label and is most relevant as replacement display or cellar packaging.
From the Producer
Screaming Eagle was founded in 1986 when Jean Phillips bought a small parcel in Oakville, and the debut 1992 vintage - made by Heidi Barrett, who stayed on through the 2005 vintage - established the label almost overnight. Production has always been tiny and sold largely through the estate's own mailing list; Stan Kroenke has been an owner since 2006 and sole owner since 2009. Because so little wine leaves the property each year, the estate's own branded wooden cases circulate as collectible objects in their own right, made only in the quantity a given vintage was shipped in.
