About This Champagne
Salon 2015 is the latest release from the Le Mesnil house that makes a single Blanc de Blancs, and only in selected years. It captures a warm, dry season while keeping the village's chalky line.
2015 opened with a wet spring, then turned hot, dry and very sunny from mid-May to mid-August.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: White flowers, linden and honeysuckle over a persistent chalky note.
- Palate: Ample and bright, citrus and white peach with a salty, mineral core and very fine bubbles.
- Finish: Long, chalky and savoury.
Serving & Food
Serve at 13 to 15°C in a large tulip or white Burgundy glass. Pair with raw scallops, Iberico ham or a potato gratin topped with caviar.

How long on lees? About nine years, disgorged February 2025.
What's the dosage? Around 6 g/L.
