From the Producer

Yann Durieux spent nearly a decade as vineyard manager at Domaine Prieure Roch before starting Recrue des Sens in 2010 on a few hectares in the Hautes-Cotes de Nuits, above the famous villages and on cooler, less expensive ground. He farms organically, presses gently, ferments on native yeast in old barrels, adds no sulphur and bottles without filtration. Volumes are tiny and the wines are released under cuvee names rather than appellation hierarchy.
