About This Wine
Prieuré Roch's Les Suchots 2015 comes from just over a hectare of this Vosne-Romanée premier cru.
Les Suchots lies on the gentle slope of Vosne, beneath Les Beaumonts and Aux Brûlées, bordering Echezeaux. The domaine's parcel covers 1.02 hectares of the 13.08-hectare climat.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Black cherry, raspberry and violet, with sweet spice and a hint of liquorice.
- Palate: Ripe and silky, with rich fruit, a supple texture and ripe tannin behind.
- Finish: Long and gently spiced, with dark fruit and freshness on the close.
Serving & Food
Decant for about an hour and serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass. Pair it with roast duck or venison.

About the Domaine
Henry-Frédéric Roch founded Prieuré Roch in 1988 and co-directed the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti from 1992. Since his death in 2018, Yannick Champ, co-manager from 2010, has run the domaine.
