Domaine Prieuré Roch Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Vieilles Vignes 2020 is a collector-grade Burgundy with old-vine intensity and the domaine's distinctive, site-led style. It offers serious appeal for buyers seeking depth below grand cru level.
From the Producer
Domaine Prieuré Roch was founded in 1988 by Henry-Frédéric Roch, whose family was also part-owner and co-manager of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The estate farms around twenty hectares biodynamically across Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Ladoix and Savigny-lès-Beaune, with no synthetic products in the vineyard or cellar and whole-bunch vinification without added sulphite, now led by Yannick Champ. The domaine describes its Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Vieilles Vignes as showing the character and freshness of Gevrey 1er cru with the Prieuré Roch touch.
