Domaine Prieuré Roch Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2019 is a collectible Burgundy Pinot Noir from a cult Côte de Nuits domaine. It brings Grand Cru structure with the producer’s sought-after natural, expressive style.
From the Producer
Domaine Prieuré Roch was founded in 1988 by Henry-Frédéric Roch, whose family was also part-owner and co-manager of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The estate farms around twenty hectares biodynamically across Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Ladoix and Savigny-lès-Beaune, with no synthetic products in the vineyard or cellar and whole-bunch vinification without added sulphite, now led by Yannick Champ. Of Clos de Vougeot, the domaine describes a powerful, straightforward wine with a Cistercian spirit.
