From the Producer
Domaine Prieure Roch was founded in 1988 by Henry-Frederic Roch, who at the same time was co-director of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti. He farmed biodynamically, fermented whole bunches with native yeast, used almost no sulphur and bottled without filtration. Roch died in 2018, and the domaine has continued under Yannick Champ, who had worked alongside him from the beginning. Production is small and Chambertin-Clos de Beze is among its rarest holdings.
