About This Whisky
Diageo bottled this 30-year-old Pittyvaich for its 2020 Special Releases.
This release comes from a 1989 vintage, filled only four years before the stills went cold.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Sweet oak and dried flowers, with ripe peach, pear and a creamy vanilla note.
- Palate: Soft and silky, with honey, vanilla custard and orchard fruit.
- Finish: Warm, with white pepper and toasted cereal.

About the Distillery
Arthur Bell & Sons built Pittyvaich in Dufftown in the mid-1970s to supply malt for the Bell's blend. Production stopped in 1993 under United Distillers, now Diageo, and the buildings were demolished in 2002.
